What Worth It is

Worth It is a self-accountability app for iOS. You set rules for yourself, choose a price to break them, and the app holds you to it. This policy explains what data we collect in order to make that work.

What we collect

• Email address — used to create your account and sync your data across devices.
• Block configurations — the names, modes, schedules, and prices you set for your blocks. Stored so your setup survives reinstalls.
• Payment history — transaction IDs and amounts from Apple when you unlock a block. Used to power your Stats screen.
• Usage statistics — unlock count and spend totals, derived from your payment history. Never linked to specific apps or sites you visited.

What we do not collect

• We never see which apps you blocked or browsed — that stays on your device.
• We never store your Apple ID, payment card details, or any financial information. Apple handles all payments via StoreKit.
• We do not use analytics SDKs, ad trackers, or third-party data brokers.

How your data is stored

Your account data is stored on Supabase — a hosted Postgres database with encryption at rest and SSL in transit. On-device data (block configurations, selected apps) is stored locally using Apple's App Group sandbox — it never leaves your device unless you're signed in.

Who can see your data

Only you. Worth It does not sell, share, rent, or trade your data with any third party. Period.

Apple's role

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple's Privacy Policy governs that transaction. We receive only a transaction ID and the amount — no payment method details, no billing address.

Data deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Email us at the address below and we'll process your request within 30 days.

Children

Worth It is rated 17+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
